http://yahooligans.yahoo.com/ - This site is a great site for teachers to use when asking their students to do research for papers.  This site is kid-friendly, so students can search for information on any topic without the parents or teachers having to worry about their children accidentally finding inappropriate material.  The site also provides online games for students to play on any subject and for any age level. 

http://rubistar.com/ -This site provides a rubric maker.  All a teacher has to do is enter the information they want included in the rubric and the maker will create a rubric for the teacher.  This site saves teachers' time by creating rubrics quickly and easily. 

http://teachers.net/lessons/ - This site provides a bank of lesson plans that teachers can access for free.  It contains a bank of lessons on most topics at any age level.  It also allows for teachers to post their own successful lesson plans to share with other educators.

http://puzzlemaker.school.discovery.com/ -This site provides a great way for teachers and students to create their own crossword puzzles and other types of word puzzles.  The teacher has to enter the words and clues they want the puzzle to include and the creator does the rest.

http://www.epals.com - This site provides a safe and secure way for students to communicate with other students from around the world.

http://citationmachine.net/ - This a great site to help students and teachers correctly cite others' work using APA and MLA format.

http://www.eric.ed.gov/ - This site provides the largest online library of educational journals.  It is a great site for teachers and college students to use to get the most up-to-date articles and research in education.

http://www.state.ct.us/sde/ - This is the official site of the Connecticut State Department of Education.  It provides up-to-date information on the education world in CT and also provides information on certification in CT.

http://www.doe.mass.edu/- This is the official site of the Massachusetts State Department of Education. This site is very useful for teachers and soon-to-be teachers.  It provides up-to-date information on the education world in MA and provides teacher candidates all the information they need to apply for certification.
